Our client in transshipment industry is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist. He/She is responsible for overseeing the processing and management of payment transactions within the organization. Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize digital and cashless payment processes to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and prevent revenue loss.
- Oversee daily operational tasks such as transaction reconciliation, settlement updates, and month-end financial closing reports.
- Serve as the company's Compliance Officer regarding license issues with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), ensuring alignment and compliance across departments.
- Monitor and report on the performance of cashless payment systems as part of management reporting.
- Address customer payment concerns, including short payments, disputes, and chargebacks, coordinating with internal teams for effective resolution.
- Lead and guide the cashless payment operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital or cashless payment operations, with previous team management and coaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the license application and compliance processes is a plus.
- Proficient in SAP or similar financial management systems.
