You will be responsible for all aspect of general quality patient management pertaining to the non-medical aspect of the centre. You will prepare the necessary documents for patient registration prior to the appointment day. You are also responsible with handling customers billing and closing of the account on daily basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Register new patients according to established office protocols
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
- Verify and update patient information
- Inform patients of dental office procedure and policy
- Move patients through appointment as scheduled
- Enter all relevant patient information into data system
- Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
- Answer and managing incoming calls
- Respond and comply to requests for information
- Schedule patients appointment
- Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
- Check daily appointment schedules
- Arrange patient's records and case notes for next day appointment
- Fill in cancellation and no-shows
- Organize referrals to internal or external Medical Specialist
- Collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment
- Prepare payment schedule with patients
- Prepare claim forms for corporate dental insurance
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dental office supplies
- Maintain a professional reception area
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
- Perform other ad hoc duties, as assigned by superior
Job Requirement
- A minimum of at least a GCE N Levels
- Preferably 2 years of relevant healthcare or clinic working experience
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- A detail oriented and ability to multitask
- Willing and able to work on a 5.5 days work week
