As a Patient Service Associate (PSA), you will be the first person patients and caregivers meet. You will help with registration, appointments, and general enquiries, while supporting daily administrative and operational tasks. Your role is to ensure patients have a smooth experience. You may work at service counters, consultation rooms, or other patient-facing areas within the healthcare facility.
Job Description:
Frontline & Administrative Support
Register patients and schedule or reschedule appointments
Collect payments and process billing
Reconcile daily cash transactions
Manage bed bookings and maintain accurate patient records
Explain clinic procedures and follow-up instructions to patients and caregivers
Patient Service & Support
Provide basic financial counselling when required
Encourage use of self-service kiosks and digital platforms
Handle patient feedback and assist with service recovery
Identify patients who require additional assistance and escalate when needed
Operational & Clinical Assistance
Prepare consultation rooms and assist with simple tasks (e.g. taking vital signs)
Support doctors and nurses in preparing patients for consultations or minor procedures
Manage appointment slots and monitor basic inventory
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency drills
Team Support
Guide and train new staff
Assist in daily coordination and departmental operations
Salary: $2,200 to $2,800 (based on experience) + allowances if eligible
Working Hours: Rotating Shifts, including weekend and PH

Requirements:
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-oriented and team player.
Front facing customer service experience preferred.
Must be able to commit to rotating shifts.
