We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining consistency, creativity, and food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in pastry techniques and a keen eye for presentation and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce a variety of desserts, pastries, cakes, and baked goods
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all products
  • Develop new dessert items and contribute to menu innovation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies
  • Minimize food wastage and control production costs
  • Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff where required

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert preparation
  • Attention to detail and passion for quality and presentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good time management and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
