We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to oversee the preparation, baking, and presentation of high-quality desserts and pastries. The ideal candidate must be experienced in pastry techniques, dessert plating, and bakery operations, with strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and other baked goods.
- Develop new dessert menus and seasonal pastry items aligned with the restaurant's concept.
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and portion control of all pastry items.
- Monitor stock levels of pastry ingredients and place orders as needed.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the pastry section.
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff, bakers, or assistants.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to coordinate production schedules.
- Control wastage and manage cost efficiency without compromising quality.
