Job Description

Develop and create new pastry and dessert recipes that is suitable for the cafe
. Manage the production of pastries and desserts, ensuring that they are made to the highest standards.
. Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the pastry kitchen.


. Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared and delivered on time.


. Manage inventory and ordering of pastry and dessert ingredients and supplies.


. To help in the coffee area to make coffee and drinks when needed

Requirements:
. Experience as a pastry chef, with a portfolio of pastries, cakes, and desserts preferred.
. A passion for pastry and desserts, with a desire to continuously improve and innovate.
. Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
. A diploma or degree in culinary arts or pastry/bakery studies is preferred.
. Basic food hygiene certificate
. Must be able to work on weekends/public holiday
