Job Summary
You will assist airline passengers by checking them in for departure flights, verifying travel documents and visa requirements, issuing boarding passes and baggage tags, managing baggage and excess charges, and ensuring a smooth and informed departure experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet airline passengers warmly to create a welcoming environment
- Check in passengers accurately for their departure flights to ensure correct boarding
- Verify passengers travel visas and valid travel documents to comply with regulations
- Issue boarding passes and baggage tags efficiently to facilitate boarding and baggage handling
- Inspect and check baggage to meet airline and security requirements
- Collect excess baggage charges from passengers as per airline policies
- Provide clear travel and airport information to assist passengers in their journey
- Manage airline flight departure processes to ensure timely departures
- Relay airline policies to passengers to ensure compliance and awareness
- Deliver excellent customer service to enhance passenger satisfaction
- Perform meet and greet services to support passenger needs
- Execute basic computerized transactions related to check-in and ticketing processes
Other Information
- Salary $1,900 excluding overtime
- 5 days work week with rostered off days
- Rotating 9-hour shifts (0400-1300, 1200-2100, 2200-0700 hrs)
