Office Administrator (Part-time with a chance to be converted to full-time)

Working location: Joo Chiat Road

Working pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 9am to 6pm, exclusive of 1hr lunch break (unpaid)

Salary: $13/hr (before CPF contributions.)

Job Description

Bridges M&C is a regional medical and healthcare communications agency. Our clients include blue-chip medical device, pharmaceutical, med and health tech companies, and private clinics and hospital groups. We are headquartered in Singapore, with an office in Malaysia and partners across the Asia-Pacific. We are seeking an experienced, friendly parttime office administrator; with potential for fulltime position after the three month probationary period. Reporting to the company's Managing Director, you will be required to undertake the following duties:

 

·        Bookkeeping with Excel / Xero

·        Invoicing clients and following up on status

·        Working with our accountants for submissions (e.g. ECI, IRAS etc) – SG & MY

·        Running payroll at the end of every month with the PayBoy system, manually for Malaysia entity

·        General HR and admin operations

·        Liaising with vendors for quotations for the office / client projects

·        Keeping our records up to date (Google Sheets, media lists, contracts, etc.)

·        Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the team.

 

Essential Requirements:

·        This position is only open to Singaporean citizens, PR and LTVP holders who are eligible for a LOC. Unfortunately we are unable to employ DP, EP, S Pass holders at present.

·        Good understanding of office management and accounting processes

·        Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Google Docs (The bulk of the work for this role is computer-based)

·        Comfortable handling confidential information

·        Able to multitask, prioritise and with good time management skills, willing to go the extra mile.

·        Attention to detail and good communication and interpersonal skills a big plus.

·        Good spoken and written English essential

 

Preferred Experience:

·        Experience with Xero or a similar accounting system

·        Experience in a professional services firm is a bonus, although the right attitude and a keen learning spirit will be the most important thing for this role!

·        Spoken and written Chinese language proficiency would be a big bonus!
