Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) formerly known as Textile and Fashion Federation (Singapore) is the official association for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore. Embracing a transformative vision, SFC aspires to become a Vibrant Asian Hub for Responsible Fashion.

With a focus on four key pillars: Sustainability, Innovation & Technology, Asian Craftsmanship and Retail, SFC works closely with diverse partners across the value chain to offer thought leadership, extensive networks, and resources to drive impactful change throughout the ecosystem.

SFC also manages Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS) and The Cocoon Space (TCS):

DORS, located at level one of Design Orchard and situated in the centre of Orchard Road, provides a physical retail space for new and emerging designers, at the renowned shopping belt of Singapore. It has the largest collection of locally-based designer brands in Singapore.

The Role

The Singapore Fashion Council (SFC) is seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Partnerships & Engagement to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in strengthening the Council's ecosystem by growing our membership community, building strategic partnerships, driving revenue opportunities, and managing key programmes and event spaces.

You will work closely with industry stakeholders, partners, and members to create meaningful collaborations that support the development of Singapore's fashion and creative ecosystem.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing programmes, and contributing to a purpose-driven organisation that supports industry growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Development & Conversion

  • Manage and respond to membership enquiries across email, digital platforms, and walk-ins
  • Convert leads into members through effective engagement and relationship building
  • Support the development and execution of membership growth strategies

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and industry collaborators
  • Identify and develop partnership opportunities that enhance member value and programmes
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure partnerships deliver meaningful outcomes

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales across SFC's offerings, including memberships, event spaces, programmes, sponsorships, and commercial initiatives
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities through partner and client engagement
  • Track leads, manage sales pipelines, and support conversion into confirmed engagements

Member Acquisition, Retention & Engagement

  • Implement initiatives to attract, engage, and retain members
  • Monitor member feedback and engagement data to enhance satisfaction and retention
  • Support membership campaigns and engagement programmes

Events & Programme Management

  • Plan and execute industry events and programmes from concept to completion
  • Manage budgets, quotations, invoicing, and payment tracking
  • Oversee logistics, venue coordination, vendor management, and on-site operations

Event Space & Tenant Management

  • Manage event spaces and private office tenants, including tenancy coordination and payment tracking
  • Serve as a key contact point for tenants and space users
  • Support initiatives to maximize utilization and commercial value of event spaces

Membership Benefits & Programme Development

  • Collaborate with internal teams to expand and enhance membership benefits
  • Support the development of new programmes, partnerships, and industry initiatives aligned with member needs

Communications & Marketing Support

  • Work with marketing teams to promote memberships, programmes, and initiatives
  • Support campaigns and lead generation efforts to grow the membership base

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Prepare reports and analyse membership, partnership, sales, and financial performance
  • Review and improve operational processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency

Team & Leadership Support

  • Contribute to departmental initiatives and cross-functional projects
  • Provide guidance to junior team members where appropriate and support a collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma with relevant experience in partnerships, client relations, sales, or business development
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles with the ability to build relationships and convert leads into memberships, partnerships, or sales
  • Experience in revenue generation, sales pipeline management, or commercial programme development
  • Strong experience in event planning and programme execution, including logistics, venue management, vendor coordination, quotations, invoicing, and payment tracking
  • Experience with membership organisations, associations, or community-driven initiatives is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders professionally
  • Strong organisation and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic, proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and improve processes
  • Adaptable and comfortable handling ad-hoc responsibilities and special projects
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside standard hours or on weekends when required for events or programmes
