Position: Part-Time Upper Secondary Science Tutor (Chemistry / Physics)
Schedule: Weekdays (Afternoon - Evenings) + Weekend slots available
Hours:
. Weekdays: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM / 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
. Weekends: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
(Actual classes assigned based on availability & student demand)

We are a fast-growing tuition brand with 3 branches across Singapore - two in Choa Chu Kang and one in Tampines - offering English, Math, Science, and Chinese for Primary and Secondary levels.

We're looking for a Part-Time Upper Secondary Science Tutor who specialises in Chemistry and/or Physics, with strong ability to build exam confidence and improve results.

Salary & Compensation:

$90 - $150 per day (for 4-6 hours per day)
$25 - $35 per hour (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

Your Key Responsibilities

Teach Upper Sec Chem/Physics (MOE-Aligned)
. Conduct engaging, concept-clear lessons
. Train students for exam answering techniques and application questions
. Strengthen fundamentals + speed + accuracy

Student Improvement Tracking
. Identify misconceptions quickly
. Provide targeted revision practice + corrections
. Give clear learning feedback to support progress

Resource & Lesson Support
. Work with the centre team on lesson materials and teaching flow
. Maintain teaching quality and consistency across classes

Minimum Qualification:
At least 5 GCE O-Level credits / Diploma / A-Levels

Experience:
Preferably 1 year of teaching experience

Commitment:
Must commit till the end of the academic year

Who We're Looking For

Strong academic background in Chemistry and/or Physics
Prior teaching experience preferred (tuition centre / home tuition / tutoring)
Confident with Upper Sec exam formats and answering techniques
Clear communication + good classroom management
Responsible, punctual, and consistent
Able to commit through the academic year
