Job Summary

The Part-Time Clinical Assistant supports physicians and clinic teams in daily operations, ensuring smooth patient service, clinic administration, clinical support, and medicine preparation at Renda TCM clinics.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients warmly and professionally to create a welcoming clinic experience
Manage patient registration and respond accurately to general enquiries about TCM services and clinic arrangements
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using the clinic management system while maintaining accurate records
Handle patient correspondence, data entry, filing, and routine administrative tasks to support clinic coordination
Process patient payments accurately and issue receipts, maintaining proper billing and transaction records
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to support physicians during consultations and treatments
Assist physicians with clinical duties as needed within the scope of the role
Prepare, pack, and dispatch TCM medicines following physician instructions and clinic procedures
Identify and prepare correct medicines based on physician-provided names to ensure accurate dispensing
Monitor and organise stocks of herbal medicines, supplies, and equipment, assisting with receiving and storage
Conduct inventory checks and support stock replenishment when required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms, clinic areas, and common spaces following safety procedures
Ensure the clinic environment is neat, organised, and well maintained

Requirements:

Ability to recognise and read Chinese medicine names to prepare and dispense TCM medicines accurately (Basic Chinese proficiency)
Experience in a TCM clinic, healthcare setting, or customer service role will be an advantage
No experience are welcomed too
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Comfortable using computers and clinic management system
Patient-oriented, responsible, and pleasant
Willingness to learn and take on both patient-facing and clinic support tasks

Working Arrangement

Position: Part-Time Clinical Assistant
Regular Working Days: Tuesdays and Saturdays at Bidadari clinic may support other days or clinics as needed
Location: Primarily Bidadari, with possible support at other clinic locations
Salary: $15/hr
