One full-day (Wednesday., 8am to 5.30pm i.e. 9 hours work and a 30 minutes lunch break)
Three afternoons (Monday, Thursday and Friday., 12pm to 5pm i.e. 5 hours work)
Actual dates may be subjected to change depending on teachers 2026 timetable to arrange for common meeting slots.
Requirement
Certification of at least a Degree in counselling
Registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)
Case supervision and is receiving ongoing supervision from a trained clinical supervisor
Written confirmation of Case supervision from the external agency, stating name and training of supervisor, and frequency of supervision
At least 1 year of relevant counselling experience in MOE Secondary School and/or Junior College
Key Roles
Conduct counselling sessions for students who have made appointments as well as drop-in cases able to provide and sustain consistent quality service with close monitoring and professional follow-up of cases
Facilitate meetings with HOD Student Development and to provide timely updated information on student counselees to HOD Student Development (monthly)
To prepare the relevant documents, and meet HOD Student Development to update him on the progress of AT-RISK/HIGH RISK cases as well as whenever a case is deemed closed (monthly)
To prepare for and participate in Case Management Team meetings, and take the necessary follow-up actions as discussed
To regularly monitor and manage the online booking portal for counselling cases (basic training will be provided by the school)
To collaborate with the relevant stakeholders and assist in crisis management, should the situation arise
