We are seeking a Part-Time Safety Coordinator to support our Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) compliance in the construction sector. This role is mainly administrative and documentation-based, with flexibility to work from home. Other than attending site safety meetings when required, the candidate can work from home for all paperwork and only meet the client's Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) when necessary to explain documents and secure approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update safety documentation including:
Risk Assessments (RA)
Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
Fall Prevention Plans (FPP)
Permit-to-Work (PTW) documents
Other statutory submissions as required - Work from home to complete safety paperwork, records, and reports.
- Attend site safety meetings when required.
- Meet client's WSHO if further explanation or approval of documents is needed.
- Coordinate and arrange safety meetings with clients, main contractors, and WSHO.
- Maintain proper filing of safety records, checklists, and reports.
- Support WSHO in monitoring compliance with MOM regulations and ISO standards.
- Assist in preparation of monthly safety reports and audit documents.
- Provide administrative support for incident/accident reporting and follow-up actions.
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in construction safety coordination.
- Familiar with MOM WSH (Construction) Regulations.
- Able to draft and review safety documents independently.
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Minimum certification: WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B) or equivalent.
- Part-time position (approx. 2-3 days per week, flexible scheduling, mostly work-from-home).
