Job Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Lecturer to deliver diploma and advanced diploma modules in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Computing, focusing on practical teaching and guiding students to develop real-world AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons for assigned modules in Artificial Intelligence and Computing to facilitate student understanding and skill development
- Teach programming, data structures, databases, and machine learning fundamentals with clear, practical examples
- Facilitate hands-on practical sessions, projects, and applied learning activities to enhance student engagement and real-world application
- Provide academic support, constructive feedback, and guidance to students to improve learning outcomes
- Assess student work, including projects and assignments, ensuring fair and accurate evaluation aligned with learning objectives
- Maintain accurate academic records in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirement
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters student participation and success

Required competencies and certifications

- Familiarity with practical tools, frameworks, and applied AI workflows
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and manage classroom dynamics
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior teaching experience in diploma or adult learning environments
- Experience in project-based or applied learning methodologies
- Teaching certification such as ACTA or ACLP
