Job Summary
Assist in preparing and cooking dishes for catering events while supporting the kitchen team to maintain high food quality and safety standards in a clean and organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes for catering events and productions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to maintain food safety and quality standards throughout food preparation
- Support event setup by packing and organizing food items efficiently for timely delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to uphold hygiene and safety requirements
- Follow instructions and recipes accurately to meet production needs and customer expectations
- Adapt to flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, to support event schedules and kitchen operations
- Work cooperatively with team members to contribute positively to the kitchen environment and workflow
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Some prior kitchen experience preferred but not required as training will be provided
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced kitchen setting
