Part-Time Halal Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Halal Compliance Officer to oversee all Halal-related matters and ensure continuous adherence to MUIS Halal standards. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with strong knowledge of Halal Assurance Systems (HAS) and HalMQ requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the company's Halal Assurance System (HAS) and ensure full compliance with MUIS HalMQ standards.
- Prepare and manage documents for annual Halal certification renewal, audits, inspections, and submissions.
- Conduct regular internal audits covering raw materials, suppliers, production processes, storage, and sanitation.
- Verify ingredients, materials, and supplier compliance with Halal requirements.
- Train and guide staff on Halal practices and SOPs.
- Work closely with Production, QA, Procurement, and Management on all Halal compliance matters.
- Attend on-site once per week, and twice at month-end or during audit/renewal periods as required.
- Prepare Halal compliance reports for management review

Requirement

- Singapore Citizen / PR only (Part-Time).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Halal compliance / QA / Halal certification experience in food manufacturing or F&B environments.
- Strong working knowledge of MUIS HalMQ, HAS documentation, ingredient approval, and audit protocols.
- Ability to conduct internal audits and identify compliance gaps.
- Good communication skills able to brief and train staff effectively.
- Independent, meticulous, and able to handle documentation with accuracy.
- Able to commit to weekly on-site work, with flexibility for additional days during peak periods.

Part-Time
- $18 -$23 per hour
