Part time Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse

We are a boutique 2 chair dental clinic (established in 1985) in Katong looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Dental Assisting and Clinic Operations (80%)

• Assisting the dentist during treatments

• Preparing treatment rooms and instruments

• Take digital X-rays for patients

• Washing, packing and sterilising instruments

• Cleaning and preparing the dental rooms

• Preparing materials and supplies

• Keeping the clinic clean, organised and running smoothly

Reception admin duties (20%)

• Helping with general clinic administration when needed

• Checking patients in and out

• Collecting payments

• Booking and changing appointments

• Answering phone calls

• Replying to patient messages and emails

Part time Working Hours

• 24 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, 9am - 1pm OR 2pm - 6pm). State your availability at the interview so we can try to balance your preference and the clinic's needs.

• No night shifts. No Sundays. No Public Holidays.

Who We Are Looking For

• Fluent spoken and written English, able to also speak Chinese/Mandarin is preferred.

• Dental assisting work experience is preferred. Local NITEC Dental Assisting Certificate or overseas equivalent qualification is advantageous.

• Minimum O of N Levels

• Work pass sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

• Positive attitude, friendly, responsible, reliable and willing to learn.

• Able to work well in a team and independently.

• Able to multi-task and remain calm in a fast paced environment.
