Key Responsibilities
- Act as the appointed RQI with ACRA, fulfilling statutory obligations under the ACRA regulatory framework.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism) requirements, including customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), ongoing monitoring, and suspicious transaction reporting (STR).
- Develop, implement, and oversee the firm's internal policies, procedures, and controls (IPPC) to meet ACRA's compliance standards.
- Conduct periodic internal reviews and staff training on regulatory obligations.
- Advise management and staff on compliance matters, keeping updated on changes in legislation and ACRA requirements.
- Liaise with ACRA and other regulators when necessary.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
Requirements
- Must meet ACRA's criteria to be appointed as an RQI and preferably RQI currently
- Strong knowledge of ACRA regulations, the CSP framework, AML/CFT laws, and related compliance requirements. Training will be provided.
- At least 3 years of experience in corporate secretarial, compliance, or regulatory roles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
