  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation meet hotel requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations
  • Assist with stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients
  • Support kitchen operations during service periods

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess WSQ Basic Food Safety Level 1 Certificate
  • Able to work 32 hours per week (includes weekends and Public Holidays)
  • Good communication skills
  • Cheerful and pleasant personality
