Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items consistently according to recipes and portion standards.
- Assist with daily mise en place (vegetable prep, sauces, marinades, stocks).
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen (aligned with local health codes).
- Support menu changes, seasonal specials, and basic inventory tasks (checking stock levels, reporting shortages).
- Collaborate with the head chef and service team to ensure timely food delivery.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a professional kitchen is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and safe food-handling practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or events depending on business needs.
$150 to $180 per day
