Paralegal / Legal Executive

Firm Overview:

Foxwood LLC is a boutique corporate law firm based in Singapore specializing in mid-market mergers and acquisitions, corporate fundraising, joint ventures, and commercial transactions. Given our expanding cross-border practice, we are seeking a highly capable, bilingual Corporate Paralegal / Legal Executive to bridge transactional workflows between Singapore and foreign jurisdictions (particularly China, and increasingly, the GCC region).

Key Responsibilities:

• Cross-Border Transaction Support: Assist attorneys in managing international M&A and fundraising transactions; coordinate cross-border due diligence investigations and structure data rooms.
• Bilingual Drafting & Review: Draft and review dual-language corporate documents, contracts, board resolutions, and shareholder agreements in both English and Chinese.
• Legal Translation & Research: Translate complex legal documents, transaction terms, and statutory codes; conduct legal research on regional regulatory frameworks and foreign investment laws.
• Client Liaison: Function as a key point of communication for international clients, ensuring smooth administrative and operational delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
• A recognized Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
• A Master of Laws (LLM) degree obtained from an accredited university in Singapore.
• Professional Qualification: Admission to the Bar or possessing a recognized legal qualification in Singapore or a relevant foreign jurisdiction is highly preferred to support our cross-border transactional frameworks.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required. The successful candidate must be able to accurately draft, review, and translate complex legal materials and statutory codes in Chinese, as well as communicate effectively with our portfolio of Mandarin-speaking corporate clients.
