Our client is a leading international law firm seeking a Paralegal (Contract) to support its Private Equity, M&A and General Corporate practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and associates on highvalue, crossborder transactions in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
The contract role is ideal for an available immediately detailoriented paralegal with strong transactional experience who is comfortable supporting multiple deal teams and managing competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support lawyers on private equity, mergers & acquisitions and general corporate matters
- Assist with transaction structuring, due diligence, and deal execution
- Prepare, review and manage transaction documents, including NDAs, board resolutions, shareholder agreements, SPAs and ancillary documents
- Coordinate and maintain due diligence data rooms and manage closing checklists
- Assist with regulatory filings, corporate secretarial matters and postcompletion filings
- Liaise with clients, counterparties and external advisers as required
- Provide general administrative and transactional support throughout the deal lifecycle
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in law, legal studies, or a related discipline
- 25+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within an international or toptier law firm
- Exposure to PE, M&A or general corporate transactions is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- High attention to detail and strong drafting skills
- Professional, proactive and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Available to commit to a contract position for a minimum of 6 - 12 months
