About the Role
We are seeking a Family & Civil Paralegal to support a team of lawyers handling a diverse range of family law and civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing sensitive information with professionalism and care.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience as a Paralegal in Family and/or Civil Litigation preferred (strong internships considered).
- Excellent command of English - both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Preferred Attributes
- Familiarity with court filing procedures and eLitigation.
- Ability to draft correspondence and affidavits with minimal supervision.
- Empathetic and composed when engaging with clients in distressing situations.
- A team player with strong initiative and a proactive mindset.
