OutSystems Analyst Developer
What will you do
- Based on the cases assigned, troubleshoot and develop solutions that meet business needs using the OutSystems Rapid Application Development platform.
- Ensure the proposed solution aligns with the overall architecture design.
- Comply with program standards, processes, and technical standards defined for the project.
- Design and develop all integration points and interfaces with SAP, any selected 3rd party software, and other applications/systems.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Ensure optimal system design and configuration of application functionality.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and resolve any identified risks or areas for improvement.
- Perform risk management, including identification of risks, provision of mitigation solutions, and management of risks.
- Participate in the change request process, including performing impact assessments, development, and testing.
- Prepare and report progress status updates to the Project Manager and other management.
- Perform key maintenance and implementation activities:Propose solutions to fulfill business requirements and recommend potential areas for streamlining.
- Design, document, and develop programs to resolve cases and ensure the developed programs fulfill business requirements.
- Plan, identify, define, and conduct unit testing to ensure the proposed solution fulfills business requirements.
- Provide technical support to Functional Consultants during system integration and user acceptance testing, implementing code changes if required.
- Conduct peer code reviews as specified according to project standards.
- Ensure programs developed pass the required vulnerability assessments and code quality inspections.
- Deliver all documentation defined for the projects, including design specifications, program specifications, and unit test plans.
- Provide on-site support where necessary.
- Troubleshoot any problems reported before and after implementation of the solution.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Good team player, responsible, and conscientious.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables (programs, documentation).
- One (1) year of OutSystems application development experience or certification in development on the OutSystems platform is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of IT system implementation experience. Prior working experience in similar projects will be advantageous.
- At least a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
