JOB PURPOSE
As a core member of the Resource Development (RD) Team, the role supports the achievement of the Society's fundraising objectives by working closely with the Assistant Head and key stakeholders. The position is responsible for planning, organising, and executing assigned signature fundraising and community engagement events, including Grateful Hearts Day, Charity Golf, Gala Dinner, Concerts, Sustainable Markets, Donor Engagements and other key initiatives. The role also focuses on coordinating and nurturing corporate partnerships, stakeholders interested in supporting our organisation through philanthropy and managing multiple fundraising projects from inception to completion. This includes collaborating with volunteers, internal teams, organising committees, vendors, partners, sponsors, and donors to ensure timely, well-executed events and effective donor stewardship, while meeting project objectives, timelines, and budget requirements.
Job Responsibilities
. Build and manage strong relationships with corporate donors, grantmakers, volunteers, and stakeholders through networks, CSR programmes and donor engagement initiatives.
. Identify and develop fundraising opportunities and gift programmes to support the donor journey and organisational fundraising goals.
. Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events, projects and community engagement initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and objectives.
. Lead end-to-end event management, including invites, volunteer coordination, venue and vendor sourcing, programme development, sponsorship acquisition, logistics, appreciation and post-event follow-up.
. Collaborate closely with internal teams, particularly Operations, Global Engagement, Marketing & Communications and Volunteer Management, to drive awareness and support for fundraising initiatives.
. Track fundraising performance, maintain accurate donor databases, and prepare reports and
updates for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
. Manage fundraising resources and support volunteers to drive outreach and fundraising outcomes.
. Contribute to achieving event-specific and overall fundraising targets including individual targets.
Job Specifications
Qualifications:
. Diploma or Degree in Project/Event Management, Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related discipline, with up to three years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, events, or communications within the non-profit sector.
. Demonstrated experience in successfully planning and delivering events of varying scales.
. Proven ability to engage and work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and volunteers.

. Strong event planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
. Organised and detail-oriented, able to perform well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess performance, adapt strategies, and make informed recommendations on the ground.
. Adaptable and quick to learn candidates without prior non-profit experience who demonstrate the ability to acquire and apply new skills are encouraged to apply.
. Donor-focused with strong account servicing and customer service skills.
