Job Description
The Outreach & Partnerships Intern will help build meaningful collaborations and gain hands-on experience in event coordination, partner engagement, and project planning while supporting impactful programs that strengthen families and communities.
Availability for this internship position: August to November 2025
Responsibilities
- Understand Focus core programs and services to engage with partner organisations and respond effectively to enquiries
- Assist in the administration and coordination of Family Life Education programs and events
- Support the planning and execution of key projects, ensuring smooth operations and stakeholder engagement
- Conduct research to identify potential partners and opportunities for collaboration
- Prepare and maintain records, reports, and communication materials for outreach activities
- Undertake any other projects and activities as directed by the Lead
Requirements
- Currently pursuing at least, a either ITE/diploma in Social work, Community Development, Business, Communications, Event Management or a related field
- Basic use of Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Able to multitask with an eye for detail
- Written and verbal communication skills for engaging with partners and teams
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
- A passion for family-focused initiatives and a willingness to support meaningful community outreach
