We are looking for someone passionate about coffee, hospitable, and great at creating incredible guest experiences grounded in care and respect. You will help with Alchemist's daily operations in all our outlets (International Plaza, Hong Leong Building, Khong Guan Building, The Mill, CIMB Plaza, 71 Robinson, The Heeren, Asia Square, Ocean Financial Centre, Funan, Plaza Singapura and The Sail). You will
- Lead and supervise a team of baristas, offering support and performance feedback.
- Ensure all staff comply with health and safety regulations, as well as caf policies and procedures. Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize waste and ensure product availability. Oversee scheduled maintenance and communicate relevant information promptly and accurately to all stakeholders, including service standards for full-time and part-time employees.
- Ensure that training conducted by the Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) adheres to company standards and oversee the mentorship of Senior Baristas by their respective AOMs. Provide guidance to the AOM on troubleshooting basic coffee equipment and mentoring Senior Baristas.
- Implement improvements in workflow processes and business strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Manage scheduling and adjust team rotations in response to unforeseen circumstances, such as staffing shortages. Oversee the growth and development of baristas, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excel in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively. Collaborate closely with upper management on store reports, staff feedback, and other operational matters.
