Job Description
About AI Rudder
AI Rudder is a conversational AI company on a mission to transform how businesses communicate with their customers — across voice and digital channels that feel genuinely human.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Singapore, we're building technologies that bridge languages, enhance understanding, and enable meaningful human–machine communication at scale.
Today, we serve 500+ enterprise clients globally processing 50 million calls daily and having delivered more than 8 billion calls to date.
Most recently, we have raised $50M in a Series B fundraising from leading global investors including Tiger Global, Peak XV Partners, and Cathay Innovation.
How We Work
- AI-first: AI isn't a tool we reach for. It's the default we start from. Every team, every workflow: AI-first.
- Global Collaboration: We operate globally and work as one team. Distance is a logistics problem, not a cultural one. We build the habits that make distributed teams actually work
- Communication Principle: Simple, Trust, Transparent. We remove unnecessary complexity so people can focus on what matters most.
What You'll Do
At AI RUDDER, a Singapore-headquartered AI company operating across Asia-Pacific and Latin America, with ambitions to scale globally, this role works closely with the OD Manager and Head of People. The Trainee will have the opportunity to explore the broader HR function, with a primary focus on Organisation Development and Talent Development, and contribute to priorities that support the company's growth across current markets and future global operations.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the OD Manager to review and refine organisational structures, job architecture, career pathways and competency frameworks in line with the company's strategy, operating model and growth plans.
-Contribute to the design and ongoing improvement of company-wide performance management, goal-setting and OKR processes, as well as promotion and compensation review frameworks.
- Help define and embed the company's culture and values through hiring, performance management and employee development practices.
- Identify capability needs and shape learning and development initiatives for HRBPs, managers and employees across markets.
- Partner with HRBPs, Shared Services, Administration and business leaders to build globally relevant people frameworks that can adapt to local business and cultural contexts.
- Work with internal stakeholders to build alignment, communicate people initiatives and support their adoption across the company.
- Use organisational insights, stakeholder feedback and implementation outcomes to identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to organisational change and operating-model initiatives, including developing proposals and coordinating key activities.
What We're Looking For
-1–3 years of relevant work experience in HR, Organisation Development, Talent Development or a related field.
- Experience in an in-house HR or OD team, or at an HR consulting firm. Experience with HR policy, people framework or strategy design in a structured organisation is an advantage.
- Experience communicating and partnering with internal stakeholders across teams or functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project ownership and written communication skills.
- Able to exercise sound judgement, take ownership of defined areas of work and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving, flat organisation.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is required.
What We Offer
- Learning & Development: Continuous learning through real projects, knowledge sharing session, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
