Oracle EPM Principal Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant for clients in the Greater China market on Oracle EPM Cloud implementations (PBCS/EPBCS).
• Translate complex corporate FP&A processes (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning) into well-designed Oracle EPM solutions.
• Analyze business requirements, write detailed functional specifications, and design technology solutions to meet client needs5.
• Develop, configure, and test Oracle EPM applications, including data integrations, business rules, and reporting.
• Communicate project status and technical concepts effectively in both verbal and written formats to business and IT stakeholders.
• Interface directly with business users to troubleshoot issues, provide training, and ensure successful adoption of the solution6

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of in-depth experience with Oracle Cloud EPM (preferably PBCS/EPBCS), including multiple full-cycle implementations12 with a total of 6 to 8 Years of experience.
• Deep functional knowledge of FP&A processes with a proven ability to lead design workshops and advise clients on best practices.
• Proven experience writing functional specifications, troubleshooting complex issues, and leading client-facing sessions13.
• Strong, hands-on experience with integration tools (FDMEE, Data Management, or ODI) and developing automation scripts with EPM Automate14.

Mandatory Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Business fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential for liaising with clients and stakeholders in the China market. Cantonese is a strong plus.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Information Systems) or equivalent work experience7.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, Essbase Spreadsheet Add-in, and SmartView8.
