Oracle & Mongo DB Specialist with hands-on exp on oracle & MongoDB as Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on application experience with Oracle & MongoDB as backend DB
• Build highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure leveraging Oracle & MongoDB
• Scale and optimize performance via schema design, query tuning, and index creation.
• Collaborate with the team as the Oracle & MongoDB SME to design, build, and optimize Oracle & MongoDB backend.
• Ensure established SLAs are met or exceeded, with supporting reports or dashboards.
• Leverage continuous build and deployment tools and practice
• Ensure accurate documentation exists for all services and solutions
• Performance monitoring and tuning

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total Software Development Life Cycle experience which includes extensive Database Administration experience on Oracle & MongoDB
• 5+ years experience in database maintenance, NoSQL document database administration.
• experience in design, development, and implementation of large-scale applications in a distributed computing environment.

Required Skills

• Modelling tools experience
• Understanding of agile development and continuous integration - Jenkins, Maven, GIT, SVN, Nexus

Preferred Skills

• Oracle to MongoDB migration experience - Nice to have.
