Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description: (Oracle DBA with automation skillset)

. Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases (including RAC and Data Guard environments).

. Manage database security, user access, and compliance.

. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.

. Monitor database health, performance, and capacity planning. . Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating routine DBA tasks such as backups, patching, monitoring, and reporting.

. Design and implement automated solutions for database provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.

. Streamline and standardize database operational processes through automation.

. Strong communication skills and ability to add recommendations to ensure optimal application performance with Oracle.

. Must be willing to work on 24x7 rotational shift. Weekend support as needed. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.
