Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe appropriate spectacles and contact lenses to meet customers visual needs and lifestyles. Deliver professional optometric advice and foster a customer-focused retail environment.

Responsibilities

Perform accurate refractions and comprehensive eye examinations to evaluate customers visual requirements
Prescribe and dispense spectacles and contact lenses tailored to examination results and individual lifestyles
Provide professional optometric and optical advice to support customers eye health and vision needs
Communicate clearly and warmly with customers to ensure an excellent service experience
Collaborate with team members to maintain a motivated, responsible, and customer-focused retail environment
Adapt to retail work schedules, including weekends and public holidays

Required competencies and certifications

Graduate of an optometry or opticianry programme from an institution recognised or approved in Singapore
Hold qualifications that meet the requirements for registration and a practising licence with the Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB)
