Roles and responsibilities

. Perform accurate refraction and eye examination to assess customers vision requirements

. Prescribe and dispense appropriate contact lens & spectacles based on examination results and customer needs

. Edge ophthalmic lenses precisely to ensure optimal fit and comfort for customers

. Deliver professional optometry & opticianry advices

. Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers to enhance service experience

. Collaborate with team members to maintain a responsible, motivated, and customer-focused retail environment

. Commit to working retail hours including weekends and public holidays

Required competencies and certifications

. Qualification enabling application for practicing license with Singapore Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB)

. Graduation from a Singapore-recognized or approved Optometry or Opticianry learning institute

. Available locations: Teck Whye & Toa Payoh Central

. Monthly Salary Range: SGD 2600-5500
