OPEX Controller (Contract / SAP BW / Power BI)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primarily responsible for SGP OPEX, including maintaining complex Cost Cycle Allocation cycles, Cost Spending Variance Analysis and Business Partnering with Cost Center owner during Budget+Forecast+Actuals
• Compile internal management reports and perform various analysis on KPI deviations and trends
• Net Working Capital KPI tracking (DSO/DSI) including Sales, AR overdues and inventory reports
• Rebates tracking and review
• Quarterly IFRS15-related transaction reports to Corporate Accounting Team
• Free Trade Agreement monitoring which includes Manufacturing Cost Statement preparation, review, and application submission/renewal.
• Liaise with controlling/corporate functions to follow-up on controlling activities
• Administrator and provide support requests on system access rights for the function within Asia.
• Business process improvement efforts

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting and Finance, or equivalent with min 5 years work experiences in accounting, costing, controlling or financial analysis function
• Proficient in Excel (run and create functions, pivot tables, and charts) and Power BI
• Previous experience with SAP (R3/S4), SAP BW preferred
• Familiar with Cost Center reporting in manufacturing industry whereby complex cost allocation charge out work experience a plus.
• Familiar with trading and/or manufacturing experience on Petrochemical products
