Operator, Crude

We are looking for a Trading Operator to join an Oil & Gas trading company. This role supports the operational execution of petroleum cargoes, working closely with traders and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery from contract to completion.

What you will be doing:

You will handle day-to-day cargo operations, from deal recap through loading, voyage execution, and discharge. This includes preparing and managing contracts, handling shipping and banking documentation such as Letters of Credit and Bills of Lading, coordinating agents and insurance matters, and supporting load and discharge operations. You will monitor laytime, track demurrage, update the trading system, and liaise with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve operational issues and ensure timely execution, including back-to-back trades.

What we are looking for:

You should have a degree in a relevant discipline and at least 2 years of operational experience within the oil & gas industry. Experience supporting petroleum cargo operations is preferred. You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Clear communication skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment are essential.
