Broker Operations Support Manager

Our client is a MAS-licensed financial institution holding a CMS license in securities dealing and fund management. We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Operations Support Manager to oversee our middle and back-office functions. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth daily operations, client servicing, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end client onboarding, including KYC/AML assessments.
• Handle daily OTC fixed deposit operations (booking, renewal, settlement).
• Oversee brokerage operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform follow-up of trade confirmations within stipulated timelines.
• Investigate and resolve client account and trade-related issues.
• Maintain strong document controls and ensure proper record retention.
• Ensure workflows adhere to audit, compliance, and internal control policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in brokerage or financial institutions.
• Experience in OTC fixed deposits, renewals, and brokerage operations is required.
• Exposure to RQFII will be an added advantage.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, hands-on, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure.
