What does the job involve
You will be part of a highly operational cargo and shipping desk in Equinor, responsible to support cargo and shipping operators in Equinor's global trading activities. The role involves close, day‑to‑day coordination with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and requires accuracy in systems entries and strong follow-up in a fast‑paced environment.
What will my tasks be
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
- Ensure accurate and timely system entries to record execution of voyages and delivery of cargoes
- Follow-up of vessel daily system forms submissions, liaison with vessel to correct reports entries where required
- Prepare and handle operational documentation related to port calls, cargo operations and voyages
- Process Agency, Port Disbursement, Bunker payments
- Review and approve Inspection Invoices for services performed
- Actively support digitalisation efforts and efficient use of operational and analytical tools
- Maintain high focus on data quality, reporting accuracy and timely information flow
- Contribute to a good working environment
- Have strong engagement with stakeholders, both internally and externally, including Cargo/Shipping Operators, Traders, Charterers, Deal handling team, Ship owners, Vessels Masters and Agents
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing tasks, tight deadlines and at times irregular working hours
Here's what we expect from you
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime, Logistics or related discipline will be an advantage
- Strong proficiency in Excel and English
- Trustworthy and reliable, able to deliver on commitments and timelines
- Strong and energetic team player who enjoy engaging with multiple stakeholders across locations and business units
