Overview

We are partnering with a leading global financial markets infrastructure organization to hire an Operations Support Center Specialist in Singapore. This role will provide production-level technical support across market data, analytics, and trading-related platforms, ensuring platform stability, incident resolution, client support, and smooth follow-the-sun operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production platforms, perform health checks, and ensure system availability across market data, analytics, and trading-related environments
  • Troubleshoot issues related to APIs, data delivery, market data, system logs, connectivity, and platform functionality
  • Investigate incidents, conduct root cause / impact analysis, escalate complex issues, and track resolution with global technology teams
  • Support institutional clients with platform setup, access provisioning, configuration, entitlements, ports, and sessions
  • Use SQL, UNIX/Linux shell, log analysis, and cloud technologies to investigate issues, generate reports, and support operational needs
  • Participate in platform change testing, API certification, documentation updates, and follow-the-sun handover activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, FinTech, Financial Services, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in production support, application support, technical operations, trading support, market data support, or securities-related support
  • Experience with financial products or market data such as options, equities, futures, indices, FX, volatility, or market analytics
  • Strong UNIX/Linux shell experience, including log analysis and file transfer processing
  • Hands-on SQL experience for troubleshooting, reporting, data analysis, or data mining
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or similar platforms
  • Good understanding of APIs, data delivery, platform behavior, and production system troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-availability environment
  • Comfortable with early shift coverage, follow-the-sun support, on-call rotation, and periodic weekend testing or maintenance where required
