Role Overview
This is a strategic operations role combining supply chain planning, logistics governance and digital platform oversight.
The successful candidate will function as a central integrator - ensuring demand forecasting accuracy, supply continuity, system integrity, and alignment between commercial commitments and operational capacity.
You will work cross-functionally with logistics, principals, commercial, finance, and technology partners to build a resilient and data-driven supply chain infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting
- Develop rolling demand forecasts based on historical data and commercial pipeline.
- Align procurement planning with forecasted demand to prevent stock-outs and overstock.
- Coordinate supply commitments with principals and manufacturers.
- Monitor inventory health indicators (coverage ratio, expiry risk, slow-moving SKUs).
- Implement structured replenishment planning and safety stock models.
- Support long-term supply planning for institutional tenders and large contracts.
2. Strategic Logistics Coordination
- Act as primary coordination interface with logistics partners and warehouses.
- Monitor inbound/outbound performance and resolve systemic bottlenecks.
- Establish and track KPIs
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across freight, storage, and handling.
3. Inventory Platform Governance
- Maintain data integrity within the Goldplus inventory management system.
- Ensure synchronization between physical stock and system records.
- Oversee SKU master data, batch tracking, regulatory fields, and pricing updates.
- Generate operational dashboards to support forecasting and pricing decisions.
- Recommend system enhancements to improve planning accuracy and visibility.
4. Process Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and refine SOPs across planning, procurement, and logistics workflows.
- Identify structural inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements.
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with healthcare supply chain standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Science, Business, or related discipline.
- 3-6 years of experience in supply chain planning, healthcare distribution, procurement, or operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel proficiency (forecasting models, pivot analysis)
- Ability to integrate data analysis with operational execution.
