Role Overview

This is a strategic operations role combining supply chain planning, logistics governance and digital platform oversight.

The successful candidate will function as a central integrator - ensuring demand forecasting accuracy, supply continuity, system integrity, and alignment between commercial commitments and operational capacity.

You will work cross-functionally with logistics, principals, commercial, finance, and technology partners to build a resilient and data-driven supply chain infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop rolling demand forecasts based on historical data and commercial pipeline.
  • Align procurement planning with forecasted demand to prevent stock-outs and overstock.
  • Coordinate supply commitments with principals and manufacturers.
  • Monitor inventory health indicators (coverage ratio, expiry risk, slow-moving SKUs).
  • Implement structured replenishment planning and safety stock models.
  • Support long-term supply planning for institutional tenders and large contracts.

2. Strategic Logistics Coordination

  • Act as primary coordination interface with logistics partners and warehouses.
  • Monitor inbound/outbound performance and resolve systemic bottlenecks.
  • Establish and track KPIs
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives across freight, storage, and handling.

3. Inventory Platform Governance

  • Maintain data integrity within the Goldplus inventory management system.
  • Ensure synchronization between physical stock and system records.
  • Oversee SKU master data, batch tracking, regulatory fields, and pricing updates.
  • Generate operational dashboards to support forecasting and pricing decisions.
  • Recommend system enhancements to improve planning accuracy and visibility.

4. Process Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and refine SOPs across planning, procurement, and logistics workflows.
  • Identify structural inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements.
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with healthcare supply chain standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Science, Business, or related discipline.
  • 3-6 years of experience in supply chain planning, healthcare distribution, procurement, or operations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel proficiency (forecasting models, pivot analysis)
  • Ability to integrate data analysis with operational execution.

Ideal Profile

  • Strong supply-demand balancing mindset.
  • Structured and quantitative thinker.
  • Comfortable managing both digital systems and physical supply realities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong compliance awareness.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven, and commercially aware.
