Operations Supervisor (Automobile Terminal)

Job Duties:

• Support frontline counter operations, including document verification, permit processing, customer enquiries, access control, and issuance/collection of operational documents and items.
• Assist in vessel and cargo administration, including processing shipment and delivery transactions, monitoring vessel movements, updating pilotage information, and managing cargo balance records.
• Coordinate yard operations for cargo receiving, delivery, and storage activities, ensuring smooth traffic flow, compliance with approved routes, and adherence to operational procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections of the yard and facilities, identify defects or safety concerns, and follow up on rectification actions with relevant parties.
• Support safety, security, and housekeeping initiatives by carrying out operational checks and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform billing-related verification, spot checks on cargo declarations, recovery charge assessments, and yard census activities, while liaising with internal departments and customers where necessary.

Requirements:

• Higher NITEC / NITEC in any discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and handle operational responsibilities effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work on rotating shifts
