Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth workflow, accurate inventory handling, timely deliveries, and effective coordination between warehouse, drivers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Liaise with drivers and assign delivery routes effectively.
- Monitor route planning and delivery schedules to optimise efficiency and resource utilisation.
- Handle and coordinate vehicle breakdown or delivery-related issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
- Oversee inventory control, stock accuracy, and timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with safety procedures.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Support and guide warehouse staff in daily task execution
- Guide the team in responding to operational incidents and emergencies.
- Escalate and provide updates on major incidents or urgent operational issues to the relevant personnel.
- Support quick issue resolution to reduce downtime and maintain service continuity.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency
- Assist with coordination and operational support as required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred
- Experience in route planning and warehouse management is an advantage
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced and hands-on environment
- Possess valid Class 3 Driving License (Forklift License is an advantage)
