Brief Summary of Role:
The Operations and Ministry Executive is responsible for supporting the 4th congregation in the following areas together with the Volunteers and current 4th congregation staff:
Sunday Operations
Kids Ministry
Integration
Discipleship
Nature of Role:
Ensures that all ministry expressions reflect the RHC vision and values that are rooted in the gospel.
Support the running of Sunday operations to ensure Sunday services run smoothly with the current 4th Congregation Staff
Support the deacons / volunteers in Kids, Integration and Discipleship ministry to develop and progress as the church grows in partnership with the current 4th Congregation Staff
Support the 4th Congregation leader in scheduling support when required
Work hours include Sunday Duty on Sundays (Friday to Saturday off)
Detailed Job Description
Operations
Ensures smooth Sunday service(s) both in and outside of the venue and operations during the week
The setting up and managing of volunteer groups for Sundays services for 4th congregation
This includes:
The Audio team - to prepare the set up of the instruments and audio system at the venue
The Set up team - to prepare the set up of the seating and venue together with Breakfast
The Welcome team / Ushers - to ensure that there are people to usher and welcome the congregants into service / post-service
Ensures that Sundays are welcoming to newcomers
Supports operational aspects of all other ongoing and future projects (ie, Venue searches, Congregation Retreat, etc)
Kids Ministry
Works with Kids Min team at Central and establishes a rhythm to work with volunteers to prepare 4th congregation Kids Min venue before each Sunday.
Supports the shaping of curriculum for the needs of the kids in the congregation
Facilitates communications between the ministry and the parents
Assists the lead volunteer in training and engaging the other volunteers
Ensures that the craft and supplies are sufficient and provided in a timely manner
Anticipates the needs of kids in the growing congregation - ie, helping with new baby's gifts / baby dedications
(c) Integration
Systematically identifies and welcomes new visitors as they visit 4th Congregation
Supports the team of Volunteers in identifying and channelling new visitors to avenues to get connected (Discipleship, Community, Serving)
(d) Discipleship /CGs
Channels new visitors to available CGs
Supports CG leaders and Discipleship Deacons in their operational needs as and when needed.

Skills & Desired Traits
This person must have strong organisational skills(at least 2-5 years). He/she must have a good track record of rallying people and building teams and must be results-oriented. He/she ideally has a desire to be involved in church planting.
