We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee daily manpower deployment and service delivery for our cleaning and manpower support operations, including childcare centres, commercial sites and other client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
. Manage daily operations, manpower deployment and service scheduling.
. Supervise and guide operations executives, supervisors and frontline staff.
. Coordinate with clients on work schedules, service requirements, feedback and operational matters.
. Handle staff attendance, replacement arrangements, urgent deployment issues and service recovery.
. Conduct site visits to ensure service standards, workplace safety and hygiene requirements are met.
. Support recruitment planning, onboarding, training and staff performance follow-up.
. Ensure workers comply with company SOPs, client requirements and workplace safety procedures.
. Monitor service quality and work with the management team to improve operational efficiency.
. Prepare operational reports, manpower updates and client follow-up records when required.
Requirements:
. Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
. At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations, manpower deployment, cleaning services, facilities services or related industries.
. Must have experience managing a workforce of at least 100 employees, including frontline workers across multiple sites.
. Experience in manpower planning, staff deployment, rostering, attendance follow-up and urgent replacement arrangements.
. Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent operational issues.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting.
. Able to communicate in English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking workers and stakeholders.
. Responsible, independent and able to work with different teams.
