Assess and improve operational workflow or processes as and when required
Responsible for all aspects of fleet management including maintenance.
Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance of logistics equipment.
Manage relationships with key operational vendors or suppliers.
Review and approve all vendor invoices and to ensure they are submitted for payment.
Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents/incidents on or off site.
Review and assess staff appraisals and to recommend them in an efficient manner to HR accordingly
Participate in weekly management meetings and meetings with clients with the logistics director
Prepare and submit monthly reports based on departmental performance to the logistics director
Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance, budgeting, and forecasting.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management.
Relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
