Our client in Singapore is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee operations and maintenance for a flagship mixed-use retail and office property, ensuring optimal performance and tenant satisfaction. Drive tenant engagement through fit-out coordination, handovers, and relationship management, while leading strategic asset enhancement initiatives to elevate long-term value. Candidates should bring over 5 years of property management experience, with a solid grounding in mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.
This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational excellence of their retail and office portfolio, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and ongoing improvement across all aspects of property management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily direction for all facilities operations, leading a team of technicians and driving continuous improvement in maintenance programs for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Oversee the complete tenant journey, from initial fit-out coordination and project execution to fostering strong, long-term relationships, ensuring a consistently superior tenant experience.
- Play a key role in capital improvement and upgrade projects, directly contributing to the property's long-term market positioning, value appreciation, and operational performance.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory authorities, consultants, and contractors, guaranteeing that all property activities rigorously adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Champion the refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manage vendor performance and contracts, and oversee critical administrative functions including procurement and budget management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in property or facilities management, specifically within commercial or retail real estate environments required.
- Hold a degree in Estate Management, Building Services, Engineering, or a closely related field required.
- Possess robust technical knowledge of building M&E systems, underpinned by a formal engineering background required.
- A proactive and hands-on leader with excellent communication skills, proven to be a solution-oriented problem-solver.
- Strong proficiency in standard office software; prior experience with integrated Building Management Systems (BMS) is highly advantageous.
