Job Description
AMGD and The Gym Pod are looking for a highly organised, proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations across our integrated health, fitness, and wellness ecosystem.
This role is responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between food, fitness, and wellness touchpoints delivering operational excellence, a seamless customer experience, and strong alignment with both brands missions around accessibility, inclusivity, and healthy living.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem Operations
Oversee daily operations across AMGD food services and The Gym Pod fitness ecosystem
Ensure smooth execution of programmes, activations, and partner initiatives
Coordinate schedules, workflows, and resources across teams and sites
Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs
Team & Partner Management
Support and manage on-ground operational staff and vendors
Act as a key liaison between AMGD, The Gym Pod, and ecosystem partners
Ensure teams are aligned on service standards, processes, and brand values
Support onboarding and operational training
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
Ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey across food, fitness, and wellness touchpoints
Handle operational issues, feedback, and escalations professionally
Identify opportunities to enhance member and customer experience
Facilities, Inventory & Compliance
Oversee facilities readiness, equipment, and inventory management
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
Support cost control and operational efficiency initiatives
Reporting & Growth Support
Track operational performance and prepare internal reports
Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Support new launches, pilots, and ecosystem expansion initiatives
Inclusivity & Brand Ambassadorship
Champion inclusivity across all operations at Enabling Village and partner sites
Ensure services are accessible, respectful, and welcoming to all abilities
Act as a positive ambassador for both AMGD and The Gym Pod brands
Requirements
Proven experience in operations management (fitness, wellness, F&B, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors preferred)
Strong organisational, execution, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Able to multitask in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Willing to work weekends or public holidays when required
Passion for health, fitness, wellness, and community-driven impact
