The Operations Manager role reports to the Director of Operations. The role works closely with the Academic Department and the Operations Department to deliver the Yue Xue Le () curriculum consistently and to maximize student growth and retention.
Key Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the Yue Xue Le programme across centres.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, or collaborations to expand enrolment.
- Analyse enrolment trends, parent feedback, and competitor offerings to refine programme direction.
Programme Quality & Delivery
- Ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of the Yue Xue Le curriculum across all centres.
- Work closely with the Academic Team to implement teaching standards and enhancements.
- Conduct regular centre visits to monitor lesson quality and teacher and centre team performance.
Staff Management & Development
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of Yue Xue Le teachers and/or centre staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure staff meet operational and teaching standards.
- Foster a strong team culture and encourage professional development.
Centre Operations & Support
- Coordinate with Centre Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations relating to Yue Xue Le programme.
- Monitor and manage class schedules, resources, and student-teacher ratios.
- Resolve escalated operational or customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Enrolment & Marketing Collaboration
- Support the development of marketing campaigns to promote Yue Xue Le growth.
- Collaborate with the Enrolment team to continuously grow the student enrolment.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Track and report on programme performance metrics (enrolment, retention, customer satisfaction, etc.).
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
- Prepare regular updates for senior management on programme progress and operational KPIs.

- Participate in special projects as assigned by Management
