Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's operational activities, including heavy equipment workshop operations, maintenance coordination, manpower deployment, and workplace safety. The role ensures that equipment is properly maintained, workshop operations run efficiently, and all activities comply with safety regulations and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

Oversee the daily operations of the company including equipment deployment and workshop activities.

Plan and coordinate operational schedules to ensure timely support for project and site requirements.

Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Ensure effective allocation of manpower, tools, and resources.

2. Heavy Equipment Workshop Management

Oversee maintenance, servicing, and repair activities for heavy equipment and machinery.

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly implemented.

Monitor equipment condition, downtime, and repair progress.

Ensure proper maintenance records and equipment documentation are maintained.

3. Workplace Safety & Compliance

Ensure all workshop and operational activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment, tools, and workshop facilities.

Ensure staff comply with safety procedures and proper use of PPE.

Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions where necessary.

4. Team Supervision & Manpower Planning

Supervise workshop personnel, technicians, and operations staff.

Plan manpower deployment based on operational and maintenance needs.

Provide guidance and ensure staff follow operational and safety procedures.

5. Coordination with Internal Teams

Work closely with project teams and site operations to ensure equipment availability.

Coordinate equipment mobilization, maintenance schedules, and repair work.

Provide operational updates and reports to management.

6. Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve operational workflow, equipment utilization, and maintenance processes.

Implement systems to reduce equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency.
