Operations Manager (Dry Bulk)

Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to be part of their Dry Bulk Shipping team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day operations for assigned dry bulk vessels, ensuring smooth voyage execution.
• Monitor vessel performance and support cost-effective operational planning.
• Liaise closely with charterers, vessel owners, brokers, agents, and other stakeholders on operational matters.
• Coordinate bunker requirements, voyage schedules, and port activities.
• Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with charter party agreements and regulatory guidelines.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to minimise disruptions to voyages.
• Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and documentation.

Key Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of experience in dry bulk vessel operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Good understanding of dry bulk shipping operations and commercial practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
