Operations Manager-Carton Packaging(SME Environment)

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Business Management

. Take full ownership of P&L and business performance

. Develop and execute practical growth strategies

. Identify new revenue streams and improve margins

2. Operations (Hands-On)

. Oversee daily factory operations including production planning, scheduling, and delivery

. Troubleshoot operational issues on the ground (machines, manpower, workflow)

. Improve productivity, reduce waste, and control costs

3. Sales & Customer Development

. Maintain and grow relationships with key customers

. Support or directly drive sales, especially for key accounts

. Handle customer issues and ensure service reliability

4. Financial & Cost Control

. Monitor cash flow, margins, and operating costs closely

. Work with finance/admin on budgeting and reporting

. Ensure cost discipline across purchasing, inventory, and production

5. Team Leadership

. Lead a lean team across production, sales, and admin

. Build accountability and a get things done culture

. Recruit, train, and retain key staff

6. Compliance & Quality

. Ensure product quality meets customer expectations

. Maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance

. Drive continuous improvement without overcomplicating processes
